Permissions

Making a request

Requests to quote, reproduce, translate, adapt, or otherwise use material from any Marginfold Press title should be sent to rights@marginfoldpress.co.uk with details of the intended use, the extract or material requested, and the context of publication.

We aim to respond to all permissions requests within 10 working days.

Please include

  • The title, author, and edition of the work concerned.
  • The exact extract or material requested, with its length and location in the text.
  • The intended use, publication or platform, territory, language, format, and print run or expected audience.
  • Your publication date or deadline.

Translation, audio, film and television, and serial rights are handled separately; direct those enquiries to the same address, marked accordingly. Brief quotation for the purpose of criticism or review does not usually require permission, but we ask that the author, title, and publisher are credited.
